Hello and welcome! I'm Mehul, and Iâm excited to share my journey with you. For over 25 years, I've immersed myself in the vibrant world of film and media, creating and directing more than 750 projects across a spectrum of formats. From AD films and TV commercials to digital content, channel promos, music videos, short films, corporate pieces, audiovisuals, radio spots, branded content, and even a full-length Hindi feature filmâeach project has been a labor of love and creativity.
My adventure began in the early '90s when I moved to Mumbai to chase my dreams. What started with writing and directing plays soon evolved into a deep and fulfilling career. My dual role as an actor and writer has given me a unique perspective, allowing me to craft innovative and engaging content that stands out in the industry.
As a filmmaker adept at âfrom script to screen,â I master every stage of the creative process. From crafting compelling narratives and developing intricate scripts to overseeing every detail of production and post-production, I ensure that each vision is realized with precision. My hands-on approach guarantees that every scene, every frame, and every detail aligns seamlessly with the original concept, delivering a finished product that resonates powerfully with audiences.

Over twelve transformative years with the esteemed production house âEquusâ and the renowned advertising agency âOgilvy & Matherâ, I honed my craft and learned the art of storytelling from the best. I never went to a film school, I went to films. Rather than attending film school, I chose to dive straight into the world of filmmaking. .
In 2007, driven by a passion for creativity and innovation, I founded Morse Code Films (MCF).

Completing my first feature film âDesi Magicâ produced by Ameesha Patel Productions was a monumental milestone, but my passion for cinema drives me to keep exploring and creating. Iâm constantly inspired to develop fresh, compelling content that captivates and entertains. My latest work, the short film âEkk Aayinaâ, is released on Disney Hotstar and Hungama Digital, showcasing my dedication to fresh and captivating.
We make films. Sometimes we win awards or sometimes we learn. In the end, we love what we do.
Iâm humbled to share that my journey in filmmaking has been marked by significant recognition and acclaim both nationally and internationally. My work has been showcased at prestigious venues like Cannes, where it stood shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the worldâs most celebrated cinematic creations. Additionally, my projects have been highlighted in The LĂŒrzerâs Archive magazine, a renowned platform that features the most innovative and influential advertising work globally.
These achievements are complemented by numerous awards at esteemed festivals and competitions such as Promax, Clio, ABBY, AME, Goafest, and AAAI. Each accolade represents not just a personal milestone but a testament to the creative vision and dedication that drives every project I undertake.
